Leary Loves the Pack
This week’s Big Cheese is the talented Dr. Denis Leary. That’s right, Denis Leary, the famous actor and comedian, has a Doctorate in Fine Arts (so what if it was honorary) from Emerson College. The star of FX’s recently concluded hit series Rescue Me has appeared in dozens of movies and even has his own book titled, ‘Why We Suck - A Feel Good Guide To Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy And Stupid’. The good doctor also happens to be a die-hard Packers fan.

Leary traces his Packer fan-hood back to his days as a child. During a web chat with fans at espn.com, Leary said his love for the Packers began as a way to upset his brother: “I am a Packers fan. When I was growing up, my older brother and I had to share this room in the attic in the first building we lived in and then the basement. It was basically the Vietnam War re-enacted every day. He was a Pats fan and to piss him off, I picked the Packers because they were the good team in the 60s.”
