Huddle Pick of the Week

Each week InsideTheHuddle.TV will be getting the picks of some of our more well-known Packer fans to see how they're feeling about the game.
This Week's Huddle Pick of the Week by Dan Hampton
The last year and a half I have been impressed by not only the Green Bay Players, but their coaching staff. Relentless is a word that comes to mind. Going to Lambeau after the first loss in forever with McCown as our QB? Step away from the eggnog!
We are pretty confident that Dan is picking the Packers over the Bears this week.
Dan Hampton is a retired Hall of Fame defensive tackle who played 12 seasons for the Chicago Bears. Dan was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2002. He has served as a co-host for Pro Football Weekly and was a color commentator for NFL games on NBC in the early 90s.
This Week's Huddle Pick of the Week by Alaina
Sunday will be a rematch of Super Bowl I, and I expect the outcome to be very similar. The Packers roll into Arrowhead Stadium chasing perfection with a 13-0 record. On the other side of the field we have a 5-8 Kansas City team with a new head coach and a question mark at quarterback. Even though Green Bay is banged up I see them winning big on Sunday.
My Prediction:
Green Bay 45
Kansas City 13

This Week's Huddle Pick of the Week by Miss Wisconsin (Laura Kaeppeler)
December football at Lambeau Field is a beautiful thing! The Packers will play 3 of their 4 December games at home and in the elements as they pursue perfection. Their first road block is a talented but beat-up Oakland Raiders team. The Raiders are 7-5 and fighting for their playoff lives - they'd love to be the first team to knock off the Packers, but they just aren't healthy enough to do it.
My Prediction:
Green Bay 38
Oakland 7
Laura Kaeppeler, Miss Wisconsin 2011, is a 2010 graduate of Carthage College with a degree in Music and Vocal Performance. Kaeppeler plans to pursue a family law degree, specializing in child advocacy law. Her year of service focuses on her platform "Circles of Support - Mentoring and Advocating For Children of Incarcerated Parents." Kaeppeler, 23, will compete for the title of Miss America 2012 on January 14 live on ABC.
11/24/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by Trenni Kusnierek
Call it “reverse psychology” (if I say it, the opposite will happen), call it a gut feeling, but for the first time all year I’m picking against the Packers. The offensive line has had Aaron Rodgers on the run the past few weeks and the defense has allowed at least 400 yards to an opposing team six times this year. Granted, they’ve won every game, but I feel like sooner or later mistakes catch up to a team. I hope I’m wrong and if I am, I’ll keep picking against the team in superstition!
My Prediction:
Green Bay 34
Detroit 37

11/20/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by April Rose
The Packers are the hottest team in the league, and not just because Matthews is oiled up and shirtless on newsstands everywhere I look. And then there’s the Buccaneers, who have lost their last three after upsetting New Orleans in Week 6. While this matchup has “trap game” written all over it, I just don’t see the Packers losing. Aaron Rodgers will probably rack up a bunch of “discount double check‘s” (a.k.a touchdowns) and the Packers’ defense will get a few turnovers in what should be an easy win at Lambeau.
My Prediction:
Green Bay 35
Tampa Bay 13

11/14/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by Mark Kass
The Green Bay Packers offense, led by MVP candidate quarterback Aaron Rodgers, is on a major roll. The Packers are averaging more than 34 points a game and have six receivers that
could start for virtually every other NFL team. They should have no problem exceeding their scoring average against a Minnesota defense that has given up more than 24 points game.
The problem for the Packers is the team’s defense, which struggled to stop Vikings running back Adrian Peterson in the first meeting as he rushed for 175 yards. Rookie quarterback Christian Ponder is bound to hit a couple of long passes against the Packers leaky secondary and make the game closer than the 13.5 point spread.
But in the end, it is impossible to pick against Rodgers and the Packers at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football in front of a raucous crowd. Rodgers and his talented receiving corps will lead the Packers to 9-0, just two weeks before the big showdown with the Detroit Lions.
My prediction:
Green Bay 38
Minnesota 27

11/6/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by Jeff Sherman
Sitting at 4-3, the Chargers don't look to be a big hurdle for the Packers. But consider their competition and know that they've been pretty poor against the worst teams they've played. I'm no football expert, but look for the Packers to leave Qualcomm on Sunday undefeated. Sure, the Chargers haven't lost at home and rank fourth in the league against the pass. So maybe, just maybe San Diego's secondary finds ways to slow down Rodgers and company. Nope.
My Prediction:
Packers 31
Chargers 20

The Packers' offense, which stalled in the second half against the Rams, will kick back into gear. Defensively, they may have the Vikings "Pondering" their choice atquarterback for this week.
My Prediction:
Packers 38
Vikings 13

9/16/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by Dario Melendez
I feel like it's hard to not go with the Packers this weekend, especially when you look at the fact that they are playing a very young and very inexperienced Rams squad. The Packers have struggled at points but in the end, they do what Championship caliber teams do, find a way to win.
My Prediction:
Packers 34
Rams 10

9/9/11 Huddle Pick of the Week by Omar Shaikh
Atlanta has a very talented QB and wide receiver core this year but turnovers have been very costly to them. Green Bay has been an offensive record setting juggernaut and Aaron Rodgers and his weapons should have no problem putting up their usual numbers. Look for the Packers special teams and defense to settle in and tighten up as well.
My prediction:
Green Bay 35
Atlanta 24
